Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept all insurance?

Finish Strong Physical Therapy is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not directly accept insurances.  We do this so we can provide uninterrupted one-on-one care to get you quickly evaluated, treated, and on to recovery faster.  There is no waiting for insurance pre-authorization.

Why Don’t you Bill my insurance directly?

Finish Strong Physical Therapy has decided not to enter into any agreements with insurance companies because it allows us to spend more time with our patients by eliminating third party interference. This allows us to promptly address your needs and specific circumstances while giving you control over your healthcare choices. Alongside your therapist, you determine what kind of care you need and for how long, not your insurance company. We have more time to listen your specific needs and goals. Above all, we seek to enthusiastically provide attentive and  compassionate care.

Because all insurance plans are unique, we recommend calling your insurance company and ask them “what are my out of network physical therapy benefits?”  Many times they may reimburse you for all or some of your PT services. A superbill (invoice) is automatically provided for your convenience. Click here for a list of questions to ask when you call.

We do accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

What about Medicare?

Finish Strong Physical Therapy is not a contracted provider with Medicare. Our services are primarily considered Medical Fitness under Medicare, which falls under the category of Preventative Health and Wellness. Here are your options:

1: If you are a Medicare beneficiary and wish to receive our Medical Fitness and Preventative services, then please contact us to schedule your initial assessment. The initial assessment and follow up visits are Fee for Service. You will receive a superbill and can seek to cover it under your Medicare Medical Fitness / prevention services only. Please refer to Services + Fees

2. If you are a Medicare beneficiary and are looking to find MEDICARE COVERED PHYSICAL THERAPY SERVICES, then please feel free to contact us and we will happily refer you to one of our trusted Physical Therapy partners that are able to accept Medicare.

Do I need a referral from my doctor before beginning physical therapy?

No. In Florida you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist.

How do I submit a claim to my insurance company?

Contact your insurance company to find out options for submitting a claim most importantly what paperwork is required for submission. After each physical therapy visit, you will be provided a Superbill that has all of the information required for your reimbursement. You can then submit the required documentation (Superbill, your payment receipt, insurance claim submission form, etc.) to your insurance company.
